Bronco had far more success at UVA than anyone since Welsh

Its amazing how quickly fans, donors & admins forget where their program was when they start criticizing a coach who has achieved heights the school hasn't seen in ages. And in 2022 UVA returned right back to its old self finishing 3-7 overall and 1-6 in ACC play, good for dead last.

Kelly could do a great job. I still prefer Hill but Poppinga is probably #2 on my list.

He had the title, but Howell ran the show. UVA wanted to force Bronco to fire Howell and Bronco refused and retired.
