No doubt that Conover should
have started against Notre Dame. Coaches further endangering a player who couldn’t practice simply because he wants to play doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
Conover should have played in several other games too. How did the coaches plan to evaluate him in game situations to know what they had?
Holker was yet another loss caused by low usage as we played a lot of games without utilizing the tight ends.
