Saved my butt a few months ago. Jacked up my back on a Saturday morning, and
phone service guy at my PCP told me to go to Instacare (I was literally stuck in bed).
Called a teledoc, and he was able to get me Prednisone to cool it down

Get a TENs device. It won’t resolve the issue but they have been proven to mitigate the pain (in some cases)
