I'm hopeful that we will be a great fit in the Big XII, but no matter how well we do there are likely to be a few negative things that will happen. For example, some fans of other teams who may be neutral about BYU/Mormons now who will decide they don't like something about us and start taking shots at us. Once we get into games against these other schools, competition and tempers flare. We'll make some friends but we'll also make some enemies.

That's OK. We can't please everyone. Just don't be a tool to other teams' fans (including acting like we're going to come into this conference and throw our weight around) and get ready for some ups and downs.
