2-4 year stretch (because of amazing players that develop well, coaching clicks for some reason, we make it to and make noise in CFP 2-4 yrs in a row, we keep placing guys in the NFL who do very well, etc etc). If that happens and it creates a real feeling that BYU is a legit place to go to compete for championships and get to the NFL, then lots more elite players will come and we may be able to build something that lasts in the top tier of CFB.

The honor code will still be a hurdle, but I really believe there are WAY more kids who would be fine with, and many who would even love, the HC and the BYU environment. The championships/path to NFL hurdles are too big for so many to even consider BYU.

Now that we’re in the Club, I believe we have a *chance* of being a top CFB program. Again, only if a lot of crazy things come together, at the right time, and for long enough.
