NYC and Japan Playmaker
BYU averaged about 1.3 games per year against Big12 teams in independence 9-5
Obviously not the same as playing a Big12 conference schedule, but won nearly two-thirds of the games, based on quickly looking through the schedules. BYU totally dominated the new teams (about 6 games) and Texas, recently split with Baylor. I think vs. the new teams the only loss was in OT to UCF. Won last game vs. Oklahoma at the end of the MWC. Bad record vs. TCU. BYU did win the PAC in 2021. I could see BYU struggling to consistently compete to play in conference championship games, but I will be very surprised if BYU is in the bottom third more than a couple times a decade.
