The gap between what we teach and what the world teaches is growing; Our beliefs will be seen as increasingly radical. So I expect recruiting challenges to become more difficult as more and more stigma is laid upon strict traditional moral codes.
I think we’ll have some breakthrough years. But I believe it’ll be the exception.
We were the “top pod”, top three in the MWC. Utah, TCU, and BYU. It was a steep drop off after that. Teams are better, and perhaps more importantly, deeper in the BXII. So we won’t be in that top pod.
In the BXII football I see:
2023 and 2024 Pod one:
TCU, Oklahoma, Texas
2023-4 We’ll be be between seat 6-10 out of the 14 teams both years IMO. Right in the middle. Doing well at seasons beginning but dropping down with injuries and mediocre depth.
POST 2024 Pod one:
TCU, Oklahoma State, Baylor
Post 2024 We’ll be 4–9 most years.
I expect that we’ll breakthrough to that top pod once every 5 years. I expect a conference championship once in 20 years.
We’ll be bowl eligible almost every year. Average 7-8 regular season W’s per year.
