This is the key. For as much as some laugh at the Big 12, the Big 12 got its
financial future secured with ESPN and Fox as partners and a GOR signed.
The PAC-12 still needs to do the following:
1. Get TV broadcast companies to pay them a decent amount of money
2. Get 10 schools to sign a GOR
3. Convince 10 schools to highly consider expansion and to possibly add SDSU and SMU
The PAC-12 still has a ton of work to do. For as difficult as #1 has been thus far for GK, step #2 is very complicated. (Will some teams demand a bigger piece of the pie? Will UO/UW sign it? Will schools like Wazzu, Colorado, and Arizona jump ship to secure stability? Will Utah change its mind if other teams jump ship?)

I think Yormark shot his shot, but none of the schools prematurely jumped, and probably won’t at this point.

It's all down to the deal (and it always has been). Yormark's only selling point is going to be if the B12 deal is
