There used to be a time and generation which would be embarrassed flaunting
their wealth, my grandfather was one of them. I also have a friend of mine father who will refuse to buy a vehicle that is worth more
than the average person in his ward. Drives his wife crazy, but he's obsessed with keeping his surroundings as humble as possible, but he makes a crazy amount of money (farmer).

I think things started changing as I grew up, GenXer's love to brag about their toys (at least some of them). Boomers enjoy showing off at times as well. But it's getting ridiculous now with M, Y and Z's in terms of the mediums that are available to "brag". Facebook, Instagram, and now those calling themselves influencers, who are often losers looking for free handouts.
