I think this quote makes more sense when you’re in a low stakes business where screw ups are fine

“If you can't measure your employees productivity by accomplishments then that is the problem”

I can’t really afford to let people screw up and then just evaluate all of that afterwards. They just have to get it right. My exerting control helps that.
