In the scenario of 24 I think it is fair to assume that the SEC would be involved in that arms race…
Why else go beyond 20, which is already a stretch for a conference size. If the SEC and Big 10 are racing to 20 then to 24 several of the ACC schools will be heading south.

Will it happen? I doubt it. Too many other schools with more value. But Dismissing it completely doesn’t make sense.
