Utah has a couple advantages over Arizona - they're by no means determinative or inarguable, but they
- have a larger market (Salt Lake vs Tucson)
- are more respected based on recent football success (Arizona has never really been consistently good, either now or previously)
- Create a better geographic bridge, connecting their new additions to the previous B1G
I get that there's arguments against all of those, but they're at least things I could see someone arguing
The issue is that Colorado tops Utah in all of those. And with Arizona St now getting AAU accreditation, the biggest argument against them goes by the wayside
