Or BYU is falling on the sword for an important sponsor and making this

Convoluted path of money seem like an accounting oops because Built never gave the players the Cougartail money. Now the players are getting the Cougartail money, the company sponsorship money that went to the program to get their logo on practice gear and helmets still went to BYU but can be blamed for the mix up and Built saves face
