My wife tries to get me to relax when there's a jerk on the road. She makes up stories about how they are rushing to the hospital, or some other excuse for their behavior. I know I'd be better off if I could just brush it off. I'm working on it.
Funny story: I still laugh about this one. About a year ago, I was driving south on I-15 near Lagoon, early morning - it was still dark outside. A guy in a big, white truck was weaving through traffic, cutting a lot of people off. He cut me off, pretty bad. I flashed my bright lights. He continued to weave in and around traffic until he had to exit the freeway at Parrish lane and he got stuck behind a group of cars that were slowing down to exit. As I passed him, I looked over and he looking over at me, rubbing his eyes, and fake crying, I guess he was trying to mock me and say that I was a cry baby? I kid you not, I started busting up laughing. It made my day. It still makes me laugh. I guess he thought he would make me mad? Quite the opposite. 😉
