Nah…Utah wouldn’t be nearly as successful
If they thought that way.
A program that overrates itself has no business being on the same page as schools like Oregon and USC.
You have to compensate for having lesser talent, money, etc. That’s hard work, family, player development, etc.
Utah was like the 4 in junior high with poor genetics, but by looking in the mirror, making improvements every day, working out and doing everything possible… Has become a 7 or an 8.
BYU fans were the 7-8 in junior high and now just a 5 or 6. But can’t let go. They hate that Utah is a 7/8, so they run around trying to tell everyone Utah is really a 4.
And no one else believes them.

The most logical metric is to start with the CFP era...there Utah is a full fledged member receiving the same

This is pretty close to exactly that - starting in 2013, instead of 2014. Utah is up there... but not at the top
