After confirming multiple times that our seats would not change in the weeks and
days leading up to a trip from PHX to Orlando, they split my young kids up into 4 middle seats all over the plane.
At the gate they said to sit in the assigned seats and they would work it out. They did nothing and we had a 3 yr old and 5 yr old middle seating with random people and we were left trying to convince some random people to give up an aisle or window seat so we could sit with our kids. I eventually got a guy to do it by offering to buy him drinks throughout the flight.

Frontier was decent in the early 2000s, then they changed their business model and went in the crapper.
