He is a Covid Sr, after all — this year. But Pope made clear two years ago they had a 5-year plan charted for Knell. I think it's pretty clear Pope values Knell a lot.

It'll be interesting to see what Pope does w Trey & Atiki. I still hope Atiki gets a RS development year — like he was never afforded to get given our injury history & strikeouts in the Portal. Landing an athletic 4 or 5 has not been in the stars for us. Though Pope has definitely tried with each offseason recruiting cycle.
