A PG who has yet to average 10+ ppg after 2 years is elite? Say what?
Hall struggles to finish open layups in a way that’s church ball-esque. He’s a bad FT shooter, especially for a guard. Lacks the athleticism and handle to consistently beat his man off the dribble and collapse defenses with dribble penetration. Has no pull up midrange jumper to speak of. Prone to going into hero ball mode and turning over the ball at the end of games when the score is tight (see end of games against Utah and at Iowa State). Prone to just not showing up period (see at Oklahoma, at OSU, at KSU). In other words, Hall has a lot of exploitable weaknesses for opposing teams.

He’s an above average 3 point shooter, but no where close to elite. He’s an above average rebounder from the PG position I suppose. His 5.1 assists to 1.7 turnovers per game is quite good, but that by itself does not make him an elite player.

Elite should be reserved for All-American players and NBA prospects. Hall, while an above average PG, is neither of those things, and frankly, I don’t see that trajectory in Hall’s future.
