I agree with not bashing on Pope(and I wasn’t ever a big fan) but you guys have
to start to realize that the University of of Kentucky’s new Head Basketball coach is literally BYU Basketball enemy #1 now, and will be as long as he is at UK. Especially if he has success.

It’s a big time conflict of interest as a BYU fan if you hope he has success now. It can only hurt us. And it will. He already has proven he won’t hesitate for a second.

If Pope keeps a heavy eye on Utah — or on BYU's interests — while at UK... he won't last two years there.

I'm not sold Pope will value them all that much. He risks a lot of criticism if they don't pan out for him at UK.

Ruechert probably will be a target by Pope, yes. I don't see Pope eyeing Utah recruiting much beyond that, though.
