But phx has sooooo many transplants from around the country that already come to Phoenix with fandom for their favorite teams in tow that most sports (dbacks, coyotes, Cardinals) often get a significant amount of visiting fans at their games. This lessens the hometown support for the hometown team.

SLC/Utah in the other hand tends to rally around the teams placed in their communities more. But, it’s always a risk. I think the magic is bringing the fun and excitement to the team very early on. The best thing for LV was having the knights be instantly good.
