It all comes down to winning. Hockey didn’t catch on in Phoenix because the team has 1 division championship in 30 years

They have 0 conference championships and 0 Stanley cups.

By contrast, Vegas has 2 conference championships, 1 Stanley cup and 4 division titles in 7 years.

Thats why Vegas went from hockey irrelevant to hockey fire.

Win. And people will show up. It’s that simple. And also that hard.

Also, Arizona has one of the worst color schemes in pro sports. That didn’t help.
