Here's how Vegas did it.

We were back down there during the playoffs. (Lived there for a decade, but that was a while ago.) The Knights own the town. Branding everywhere ya look. Raiders? Nuthin'. A shirt here. A license plate there. That was about it. UNLV? Not a hint that its football or basketball programs even exist. Which, as a grad, left me feeling a little bummed.

It all comes down to winning. Hockey didn’t catch on in Phoenix because the team has 1 division championship in 30 years
