And just like those, they all fail when salt or snow or rain cover the cameras. This happens many times a year. And then you have the issue of needing to take the wheel if things get sketchy. If everyone mostly doesn't drive, then how will you even have the experience to drive well in any condition. So the only time people would drive is in the worst conditions? Or in an emergency situation?
The last mile for FSD tech is crazy complex. While your analogy to manufacturing tech is nice for the safety benefits, self driving is exponentially more complex because of the systems interplay.
