Where are the tourism dollars going now - hint, it’s not the locals
other than cheap labor jobs. There is an island above Fiji called Ratuma which has no tourism as there are no hotels or VRBO. Beautiful island. The islanders there while absolutely “behind the times” might be considered better off than the Hawaiians.
