Nah, man. That's all right on point. And fascinating!
And I don't doubt nostalgia's power to cloud our view of the past.
And I'm guilty! I love the look of that era. And yet, I saw a newsreel of British soldiers celebrating around the time of WWI. The teeth! Horrible! I instantly felt awful for those men who had teeth sticking out in every direction. Thank you modern dentistry. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
