The difference in talent also would not be significantly different once the replacement athletes were in a similar situation (for the most part).

The reality (imo) is all of the value comes from the Block Y on their helmet or USC uniform they wear.

The athletes getting insane NIL deals could all go play in the xfl and not one of us would buy a ticket to see them play.

With that said I don’t think additional compensation or stipends isn’t unreasonable. I think athletes that are legitimate stars should keep any apparel money . They should get better healthcare, etc.
