That does seem like it’s the right way though.
Why subsidize sports nobody wants to watch? Are those athletes entitled to college sports experience? Is it good business for the NBA to subsidize the WNBA? Should the NfL pay to create a womens league for the sake of fairness even if nobody wants to watch it and it will lose money?
