I'm sorry it hasn't worked out the way things were planned. It goes to show that there are many things that have to be taken care of for somebody to excel at the sport. Not only do you have to be good, but you have to stay relatively injury free, as well as keep up in the school work. I'm not sure which would hurt more, Cade's story, or Brandon Heaney if he is denied another year for medical reasons.

But one thing this sounds like... It's hard to accuse someone else of having a grudge without building one of your own.
