I wouldn't say he was a bust, just that he was caught in a

scholarship crunch at a bad time. He had little self-confidence and wasn't cutting it on defense, but there's little doubt he could have improved. He was just another player in the wrong place at the wrong time, it happens all the time unfortunately.
