I am not convinced of this. Very few of the big men on his watch developed

a solid back-to-the basket post game. Davies came with one, Davis came with one, Mika came with one. About a dozen other guys were in the system and never developed even one reliable post move. Just about every WCC team has 2-3 big dudes each year who can post up and score if they get the ball on the block.....BYU has had about 3 in the last several years.

The scholly was most likely down to him or Shaw. Hindsight..... but can see where it was a tough choice at the time.
