Don't know if this has been mentioned....

I read an article about Neilson after BYU's loss to UVU. Neilson stated why he left BYU. He wanted to be more of a perimeter player shooting threes. Rose was adamant that at 6'11" Neilson needed to be an inside player. UVU offered him more freedom and it looks like things have worked out nicely for him. (Subliminal-Looks like Rose blew it)

The scholly was most likely down to him or Shaw. Hindsight..... but can see where it was a tough choice at the time.
