Hindsight is 20/20. His freshman year he was a huge liability on D and he didn't

show enough to take a schollie/playing time away from Mika, Dastrup, or Kaufusi, in spite of being handed a tremendous opportunity at a position of need that most freshmen never see. Rose probably did him a favor letting him go after just one season and not 2. I'm glad that he's stepped up his game and become a great player.
