Look, this has been discussed ad nauseam on this board. But, apparently people don't here well or we just have so many Millennials with short memories and unrealistic expectations. Dastrup was a true freshman coming straight off a mission that was way out of shape. Honestly, that is to be expected and he should not be judged on that at all. He has stretch 4 skills for sure. IMO, the big guys are not the issue at all. Mika, Childs and Dastrup are a really nice trio with a blend of size, skill, athleticism and length.
BYU really needs some wing and PG help. BYU needs a pure ball handling point guard with elite speed and quickness. This guy doesn't need to be able to score, just pass and defend. They also need a wing guy with some length and size. Again, just a 3 and D guy that would be a major upgrade from Guinn. Sure up the bench and surround some of the score first guys with some nice defense first, glue guys.
