Why would a stretch 4 be any taller or
shorter than an in-the-paint 4?
And, NBA players are generally taller players anyway. Childs is tall enough to play the 4 in college even if he isn't tall enough to play it in the NBA.
Edit: I mean, if Jonathon Tavernari is tall enough to be a stretch 4, Childs certainly is.
