Try game planning against an elite rim runner.
Guys like Deandre Jordan, Rudy Gobert, Tyson Chandler are a nightmare to defend. You have to change your personnel. It changes the way you guard the PNR because you either can't hedge or you have to have a 3rd player rotate that is capable of defending the rim against a freak 7 footer with momentum.
That's why those guys have crazy high fg%. Most of the time teams change up their defense to protect the rim and it gives guys like Dirk, Griffin, etc room to operate. Teams would rather dirk shoot a long jumper than let a 7 footer have an easy dunk.

That's insane. Their second best player was a 37 year old Jason Kidd who was out of the league after the next year.

He can't be anything over 5th; he played the 2nd most minutes on the team. But even then it doesn't speak well of them
