I agree that most of the arguments are weak. MJ had six in a row. Yeah, so? He also had a great team. Lebrons had no chance to do the same because his wins in the East were a mirage. That's just a sample.
To me, I use the Simmons tests. If a trade were brought up, both teams probably say no for various reasons. But which one considers it, if only for half a second? The other is the space jam test. If aliens came to earth and the fate of the earth hinged on a game between us and them in basketball, who would you choose first? For me, in that case, it's who you fear most. Lost of players scare me, but MJ scares the crap out of me as an opposing fan. I hated him because he always seemed to win; was never his fan. A true hater.
