I'm not pumping them up--I'm saying they are the same caliber as those other
Teams. You are saying they wouldn't make the roster, I disagree.

The whole point of my argument is that Dallas wasn't that great just like some of those 90s teams Jordan played.

Also, it's not like the West was that weak the year Dallas won it they had to beat the defending Champs to claim the title. Just like it wasn't weak when Phoenix and Portland made it to the finals.

The whole root of this debate is based on LeBron and Jordan. My point is that while I don't think Jordan would have lost to the Mavs, I also don't think he would have beaten the Warriors.

It's odd to me that many can't accept that there are definite ways LeBron impacts the game that Jordan didn't and vice versa.

Lebron locked in on defense in the finals last year is the best defensive performance I've ever seen.

MJ vs Phoenix was the best offensive performance I've ever seen in a finals.

Choosing which player is better is like saying you like orange popsicles more than grape. It's a matter of preference. There are a number of GMs that would take LeBron over MJ and vice versa. It comes down to what brand or style you value or like more than the other.

MJ is a flashier player, puts up points in a hurry (still an all around player)

Lebron approaches each game differently with a mindset of getting guys 3s and playing whatever position he needs to (sometimes playing all 5 positions in 1 game to make lineups work)

Personally I value versatility more and my preference is LeBron. It's easier to build a team around a guy that can make any lineup work.

That doesn't mean I think LeBron is the GOAT it just means that I value his style more than MJ.

The debate will never be settled on who the GOAT is... But I put LeBron and MJ in the same category.
