Homecoming game. UNR played BYU much tougher than expected last year to end the season. Bronco assures us that his team is not overlooking the two-win Wolfpack team. Unfortunately, for the team from Reno, unlike last year’s contest, this BYU team has something to play for when they suit up against UNR. It shows early and often. Hill hits Blackmon over the middle for a slant and he side-steps the MLB and races down the field for a 72 yard TD on the second play of the game. Hill adds two more throwing TD’s in the game (Kurtz - 14 yards, JSwag - 13 yards) and Brown goes off on the Wolfpack scoring 2 rushing TD’s of his own and gaining 100+ yards for the first time ever. Starters rest most of the second half and Christian Stewart gets his first TD pass as a Cougar, a nice 13 yard pass to Thompson.

BYU rolls, 42-9.
