The old ball coach has South Carolina peaking at the right time and the mighty SEC is challenging for the National Title for the 149th year in a row (it seems) but must get passed a savvy, veteran Spartan squad, led by their tough, vaunted defense. MSU shows the weakness of the B1G and, even though they force 4 Gamecock turnovers, they can't stop South Carolina enough on offense and they fall 28-13 in a sloppy game.
