Party, which isn't exactly a paragon of impartiality, objectivity, and balance. The Japanese troops in Nanjing did some awful things, but in my experience most foreigners who live in China discount the official Chinese government account of what happened by about 50%. Chinese officials take pleasure in riling up the Chinese people against Japan at every opportunity, and this is no exception.
