When they put Bama and LSU into the same title game they just assumed Ok State and MI State (I think) were not the equal of a one loss Bama. LSU had already proven themselves against Bama in the conference season and should not have had to face them again.

That is kind of the purpose of conferences - to play the season and be the best in your conference. Then you get to play the best from the other conferences to see who is really the best.

Two teams from the same conference should NEVER be in a playoff where there are less spots in the playoff than conferences. That is complete bias and favoritism. Basically it's figure skating.
