You chose to get the tickets at full price and knew you would get a seat
You're paying for that guarantee of getting a seat in the same place each game in a decent spot. You had to have known they discount prices at the last minute if games aren't sold out. Every stadium in the US does that. If you don't renew the season tickets, you're just giving a better spot to somebody who understands what buying full priced tickets means.
