There will be some degree of equilibrium in fan distribution among the active LDS population in Utah. There will also be equilibrium in fan distribution within the ex-mormon and non-mormon populations in Utah. The equilibrium points are very different between these populations and the populations themselves are not in equilibrium or approaching equilibrium. As the active LDS population in Utah continues to become proportionately smaller, so will BYU's share of the local market.
