I live in Utah and my fandom is not based on

a couple of good (and lucky) seasons. If it was I can think of about 50 other teams I would cheer for other than Utah. Two good years in a history of less than mediocrity is hardly a flag to wave. I am a BYU fan and that is it. I may watch other teams because I am also a sports fan, and I may even cheer for other teams for the same reason. But I wont ever jump on the bandwagon and "switch allegiances" - whatever that means in a sports context.
