while i agree with your main point, it seems
That there is an underlying assumption that lds players and coaches are more righteous then their opponents. I am not sure that I would agree with this. While I assume that Guthrie is a good person based on what I know about him, that doesn't necessarily make him more righteous than Tim Hudson or Bumgarner or other giant players who may be just as Christian even if they aren't lds.

I guess my point is that while I agree with your point, I think it is difficult to prove that unless you know the righteousness of everyone involved.
