The perception of "moral superiority" is just that - a perception
You're free to think BYU fans are "holier than thou" or "self-righteous" or obnoxious or whatever your favorite phase is but that's only your perception. If you don't think other programs are viewed the same way or the perception that BYU fan is more smug than all others, I suggest you get out of the house a bit more. BYU fans aren't unique in being annoying to other fan bases.
