yes but "moral superiority" is just the excuse BYU haters use to hate on BYU
Stanford haters resent Stanford taking the "smart" kids (or their programs losing out on those kids). FSU / Miami / etc. haters think they're recruiting criminals. It goes on and on - the "moral superiority" argument is used for convenience, IMHO. Hate BYU and BYU fans all you want - I could really care less but saying the fanbase is playing some unique moral superiority card strikes me as naive.
