just b/c your righteous. Look at the sons of Mosiah. Some had a different set of circumstances to endure while on their missions; prisons instead of palaces. Neither was more or less righteous than the other. However, it would be inaccurate to say that God did not bless Ammon when he was able to serve his mission in a palace instead of a prison. The blind man wasn't blind because he or his parents were terrible sinners, and the Pharisees and Sadducee couldn't see because they were so righteous. Christ clearly taught that the blind man was blind so that the power of God could be manifest to the world. John 9:3. Whereas the Pharisee's and Sadducee's sight was intended to allow them to be the more accountable, "because they seeing see not; hearing they and hear not[.]" Mathew 13:13.
