The Lord always reward righteous people, without exception.
Those rewards that are "always" granted are eternal in nature.
Temporal rewards though, are a different matter. If you've ever been blessed by the Lord temporally, you know that this, in fact, does happen. And, if you're spiritually mature enough, you also know the temporal rewards are not guaranteed, and that sometimes even temporally bad things happen to righteous people.
That's life. Sucks to be us sometimes.
