Agreed on LES, but regarding the MC... I've been to five basketball arenas in
the Pac-12. I feel I'm being honest when I say that the MC is better than all five of them. Not only is it bigger, but it's also clearly 'better'. That's not necessarily an indication that the MC is a great venue, but it shows how little investment these Pac-12 schools have put into their basketball arenas. Most of the 'gyms' in the Pac-12 have roll-out bleachers, typical of high school gyms... some even have volleyball lines painted permanently on the court since they double as the school's volleyball venue.
I've seen a few posts about the U's update to the Huntsman Center, but even then, I believe our renovation two years ago on the MC cost more than what the U just put into the Huntsman Center... and my opinion was that the Huntsman Center was in much worse shape, mis-matched handles and all.
